At a campaign rally outside of Harrisburg, PA., President Donald Trump makes his comments on the congressional electoral process, stating in reference to the upcoming election: "And I don't want to end up in the Supreme Court and I don't want to go back to Congress either, even though we have an advantage if we go back to Congress — does everyone understand that?” He continues, "I think it’s 26 to 22 or something because it’s counted one vote per state, so we actually have an advantage. The DHS’s first Homeland Threat Assessment states that white supremacists are America’s biggest threat. Earlier drafts included harsher language, and explicitly singled out white supremacists, while later drafts avoided this and grouped white supremacists within the larger framework of "domestic violent extremists" (DVE). The final draft states “Among DVEs, racially and ethnically motivated violent extremists—specifically white supremacist extremists (WSEs)—will remain the most persistent and lethal threat in the Homeland.” Source: Department of Homeland Security.
